About Spring

Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Hi, I’m Spring.

I grew up in the country on a dead end dirt road, homeschooled with my sisters by hippie artist parents. Now I live in downtown Toronto with my husband where we drink too much coffee and listen to too many podcasts.

I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer, and I feel really lucky to do what makes me happy. My days are filled with love and beauty - it’s pretty dreamy. You can check out some of my non-wedding photography here.

I love the honesty and electric happiness of a wedding day. The raw emotion and simple beauty of two people in love is unmatched. Capturing and preserving your story is like magic for me - it’s the closest I can get to stopping time or catching lightening in a bottle.

Get in touch if you’d like to talk wedding photography and maybe we can catch some lightening together.

Me, in a Nutshell

  • I love small towns, beaches, forests…anywhere that can be considered ‘off the beaten path.’

  • I plant a vegetable garden every summer. I keep 50% of it alive.

  • I believe Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are the cure for a bad day.

  • I love mysteries and true crime. I think my true calling is to be an old lady detective.

  • I travel as much as possible. In the past year I’ve been to Nicaragua, France, Mexico, Italy and Ireland.

  • I think the perfect prank is to change the background on someones phone when they aren’t paying attention.

  • I married my husband, Nate, three years ago in the woods behind my childhood home. He makes me breakfast every single morning, which is just about the most romantic thing I can think of.

  • I feel awkward talking about myself, and I love making lists.
